इंडिया न्यूज सेंटर,जालन्धरः जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से लोक सभा मतदान के दौरान वोटों डालने के लिए प्रयोग की जाने वाली इलैक्ट्रॉनिकस वोटिंग मशीनों और वी.वी.पैट मशीनों की विधान सभा क्षेत्रों के अनुसार बाँटने की प्रक्रिया को डायरैक्टर लैंड्डस कार्यालय में पूर्ण कर लिया गया है। डिप्टी कमिशनर जालंधर वरिन्दर कुमार शर्मा, पुलिस कमिशनर श्री गुरप्रीत सिंह भुल्लर और एस.एस.पी.जालन्धर नवजोत सिंह माहल की तरफ से विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के लिए ई.वी.एम. एवम वी.वी.पैट मशीनों को बाँटने के अंतिम दिन के प्रबंधों का जायज़ा लिया गया। उन्होने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से पिछले कुछ दिनों से 9 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के लिए 6531 मशीनें भेजी गई हैं। आधिकारियों ने बताया कि विधानसभा क्षेत्र फिल्लौर के लिए 272 बैलट यूनिट, 272 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 284 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों, विधान सभा क्षेत्र नकोदर के लिए 285 बैलट यूनिट, 285 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 297 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों भेजी गई हैं। उन्होने आगे बताया कि इस तरह विधान सभा क्षेत्र शाहकोट के लिए 281 बैलट यूनिट, 281 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 293 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों, विधान सभा क्षेत्र करतारपुर के लिए 252 बैलट यूनिट, 252 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 263 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों, विधान सभा क्षेत्रा जालंधर पश्चिमी के लिए 188 बैलट यूनिट, 188 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 196 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों भेजी गई हैं। उन्होने आगे बताया कि इस तरह विधान सभा क्षेत्र जालंधर केंद्रीय के लिए 184 बैलट यूनिट, 184 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 192 वी.वी.पैट मशीनों, विधान सभा क्षेत्र जालंधर उतरी के लिए 203 बैलट यूनिट, 203 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 212 वी.वी.पैट मशीनें, विधान सभा क्षेत्र जालंधर कैंट के लिए 236 बैलट यूनिट, 236 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 246 वी.वी.पैट मशीनें और विधान सभा क्षेत्र आदमपुर के लिए 245 बैलट यूनिट, 245 कंट्रोल यूनिट और 256 वी.वी.पैट मशीनें भेजी गई हैं। इस तरह डिप्टी कमिशनर, पुलिस कमिशनर और एस.एस.पी.ने बताया कि इन मशीनों को ले जाने से सबंधित विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के स्ट्रांग रूमों में स्टोर करने के लिए पूरी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को विश्वसनीय बनाया गया है। उन्होने बताया कि इस के अतिरिक्त मशीनों को ले कर जाने से ले कर स्ट्रांग रूमों में स्टोर करने तक पारदर्शिता को बनाये रखने के लिए समुच्चय प्रक्रिया की वीडीओग्राफी भी करवाई गई है। डिप्टी कमिशनर, पुलिस कमिशनर और एस.एस.पी. द्वारा लोकसभा मतदान के दौरान स्पोर्टस कालेज और कार्यालय डायरैक्टर लैंड्डस रिकार्ड में बनाऐ जाने वाले संभावित स्ट्रांग रूमों और गिनती केन्द्रों का भी दौरा किया गया। उन्होने कहा कि मतदान के दौरान इन स्थानों पर सुरक्षा के कड़े प्रबंध किये जाएंगे। उन्होने कहा कि यह सैंटर भारतीय चुनाव आयोग के निर्देशों अनुसार तैयार करवाए जाएंगे। लोक सभा की आम मतदान को निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी ढंग से करवाने के लिए जिला प्रशासन की वचनबद्धता को दोहराते हुए डिप्टी कमिशनर, पुलिस कमिशनर और एस.एस.पी. ने कहा कि मतदान को शांतमयी और सुचारू ढंग से करवाने के लिए कोई कमी बाकी नहीं छोड़ी जायेगी। उन्होने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से स्ट्रांग रूमों की सुरक्षा को विश्वसनीय बनाने के लिए सुरक्षा मापदण्डों को पूरी विधि से अपनाया जायेगा। उन्होने कहा कि यह समुच्चय प्रक्रिया को पारदर्शी ढंग से पूर्ण करने के लिए जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से समूह राजनैतिक पार्टियाँ, उम्मीदवारों और उनके प्रतिनिधियों को हर स्तर पर विश्वास में ले कर किया जायेगा जिससे उनका लोकतंत्रीय प्रक्रिया में विस्वास को बरकरार रखा जा सके। इस अवसर पर अतिरि1त डिप्टी कमिशनर कुलवंत सिंह और जसबीर सिंह, डिप्टी कमिशनर पुलिस पी.बी.एस.परमार, सहायक कमिशनर हिमांशु जैन, संयुक्त कमिशनर नगर निगम जालंधर आशिका जैन, सहायक कमिशनर पुलिस बलविन्दर इकबाल सिंह और बरजिन्दर सिंह के अतिरिक्त अन्य भी उपस्थित थे।

India News Centre,Jalandharः The district administration today completed the process of assembly wise distribution of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail(VVPAT) to the various assembly segments from the office of the Director Land Records.
The Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Navjot Singh Mahal today oversaw the work of dispatching the machines on last day. They said that the administration has dispatched 6531 machines in last few days for the nine assembly segments . The officers said that 272 Ballot Units (BU), 272 Control Units (CU) and 284 VVPAT machines have been dispatched for Phillaur assembly segment, 285 BU, 285 CU and 297 VVPAT machines for Nakodar assembly segment, 281 BU, 281 CU and 293 VVPAT machines for Shahkot assembly constituency, 252 BU, 252 CU and 263 VVPAT machines for Kartarpur assembly segment, 188 BU, 188 CU and 196 VVPAT machines for Jalandhar West assembly constituency, 184 BU, 184 CU and 192 VVPAT machines for Jalandhar Central assembly segment, 203 BU, 203 CU and 212 VVPAT machines for Jalandhar North assembly constituency, 236 BU, 236 CU and 246 VVPAT machines for Jalandhar Cantt assembly segment and 245 BU, 245 CU and 256 VVPAT machines for Adampur assembly segment.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner , Commissioner of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police said that foolproof security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the full safety of the machines during the transportation and subsequently for storing them in their respective strong rooms. They said that videography of the entire process of transportation and storage was being done to ensure complete transparency in the system.
The Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police also inspected the proposed strong rooms and counting centres to be set up during the general elections at the local Sports College and the Office of the Director Land Records. They said that foolproof security arrangements would be made by the district administration at these places during the polling process. The officers said that these centres would be set up as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
Reiterating the firm commitment of the district administration to ensure free and fair general elections, the Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police said that no stone would be left unturned for ensuring that the polls were held in peaceful and transparent manner. They said that elaborate arrangements would be made to ensure that the polls were conducted in a free and fair manner. The officers said that the district administration would put in place an elaborate system of security measures and procedural checks-and-balances aimed at ensuring foolproof security of the strong rooms. They said that these safeguards would be implemented by district administration transparently with the active and documented involvement of political parties, candidates and their representatives at every stage to build their confidence on efficacy and reliability in the electoral process.
On the occasion Additional Deputy Commissioners Mr Kulwant Singh and Mr Jasbir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr PBS Parmar, Assistant Commissioner Mr Himanshu Jain, Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Ms Aashika Jain, Assistant Commissioners of Police Mr Balwinder Iqbal Singh and Mr Barjinder Singh besides others.
